Group Health Insurance
We provide insurance to members of a formal group such as employees of a firm or members of an association. Group insurance has three types of plans:
What is the Difference between HMO and PPO?
HMO- You can only choose a doctor in the "HMO World" If you go out of network you have no benefits and you are on your own. You usually have to get a referral from your primary care physician to see a specialist, also known as "red tape".
PPO or POS- These plans give you the convienience of the network contract but the flexability to choos to go out of the network if you need to. You also have the choice to see what ever doctor you want to...no "referral" necessary.
